JARVIS â Personal AI Virtual Assistant
An ongoing personal virtual assistant project designed, developed, and continuously improved for everyday use. JARVIS combines voice interaction, speech recognition, automation, and a custom user interface to create a hands-free assistant capable of interacting with and controlling different parts of my computer environment.
- Voice Interaction: Built a custom Python-based voice system using microphone input and Faster-Whisper for local speech recognition, allowing JARVIS to listen for commands and respond to natural spoken language.
- Custom Activation System: Developed audio-processing logic for detecting physical sound patterns, including a double-clap activation system that allows the assistant to start listening without requiring keyboard interaction.
- System Control & Automation: Created Python scripts that allow the assistant to execute commands, launch applications, control selected computer functions, and automate repetitive everyday tasks.
- Custom UI/UX: Designed visual interface concepts for different assistant states and conversation elements, creating a more interactive experience for listening, processing, speaking, and executing commands.
- Continuous Development: JARVIS is an actively maintained personal project that I use as a virtual assistant in my daily life. New commands, integrations, UI elements, and automation capabilities are continuously added as the system evolves.
Full-Stack Book & Quote Manager (Internship Assessment)
A responsive full-stack CRUD application developed as a technical qualification test, which successfully secured my internship at RR Consulting and Software AB. The project demonstrates rapid independent learning and secure system implementation.
- Secure Authentication: Implemented complete user registration and login flows using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) to securely protect backend REST API routes.
- Full-Stack CRUD Logic: Developed comprehensive Create, Read, Update, and Delete functionality for a book management system and a separate "My Quotes" view.
- Responsive UI & Theming: Designed a mobile-first frontend utilizing Bootstrap and Font Awesome, featuring a collapsing navigation menu and a custom light/dark mode UX toggle.
Hatmaker Enterprise System
A custom enterprise system built from scratch to digitize order flows and replace paper-based processes. Developed in a 10-person team with a strong focus on modern system architecture and Agile methodologies.
- Agile Methodologies (XP): Utilized daily pair programming to efficiently solve complex logic and share knowledge across the team.
- Project Management (Scrum): Conducted continuous Sprint Reviews and Planning Poker to match team velocity and adapt the backlog to client needs.
- Advanced Logic: Designed and implemented a robust return flow alongside comprehensive order management.
